Note: The following information is required to determine the correct part number:
1. Type of vehicle: Truck or Industrial.
2. Turbo or Naturally Aspirated.
3. Horsepower and RPM rating.
4. Engine serial number, starts with 08G (located on top side of block directly in front of valley pan on a stamped machined pad, top side of block).
5. Type of governor: electronic, variable speed, or limiting speed. (Variable Speed = 1 shaft in top; Limiting Speed = 2 shafts in top)
6. Type of transmission: AT automatic, MT automatic, or manual.
All manual and MT automatic transmissions use SAE#2 flywheel housing.

All AT automatic transmissions use SAE#3 flywheel housing.
(flywheel housing casting # 8922276 / 16” inside diameter)
Casting number location: front of flywheel housing on the bottom side.
